2 days before 2012 ends, my girlfriends and I decided to have our much-awaited slumber party as our last hurrah. I cannot wait to blog about it (a.k.a. when Pepang decided to finally upload our pictures. Ha!) because it was all fun with games, drinks, and endless chit-chats. 

For now, let me share with you what I wore when we arrived at Acacia Hotel. Warning though, when I saw the pictures, I loved them all I decided to include everything. Photo vomit. Haha. Ang galing ng photographer ko! Thanks a bunch, bebe Pepang! <3

I swear! Ang sarap um-emote dun! Hahaha. The view was enough to set the mood of an emotera like me. My friends told me I came prepared because I already planned my poses. Haha. Hindi kaya! :P

I love how my outfit seems to fit in the background. Diba, very turista ng dating? Eh nasa Alabang lang din naman kami. Haha! Kidding aside, I love how these casual clothes doesn’t need to compromise comfort. I am not really used to wearing sleeveless before but I am now learning how it works and how comfortable it is. Hehe. Late bloomer much? :P Plus there are so many cardigans now that you can throw on you when you get cold or when you want to be more fasyown right?

I told you this place brought out the emotera in me. Haha!

Had a date with the boyfriend on the first day of the new year. Well, alam niyo naman. Kapag di kayo nagkita sa unang araw, ganun na for the rest of the year. Do you believe in that? Me? Not really bad it won’t hurt to do it you know. Besides, it’s a good excuse to have a date. Hahaha!

Wasn’t able to bring a cam so here’s some snapshots I took from my iPhone! I love how I can now take HDR pictures without bringing a bulky SLR. Oh technologies these days. 

Spent most of our time roaming around, buying this and that, talk and walk and laugh and of course, eat! We ate at Johnny Rockets because the boyfriend really wants to try their burgers. I had a bad experience with Johnny Rockets when I got disappointed with my burger but it’s all gone now all thanks to my BLT order. Love ko na ulit siya. Wahehe. 

Wasn’t planning to have an OOTD taken but since I want to share the page 1 of my 365, I might as well document what I wore. Haha. Was in a hurry so I just put on whatever I saw first and glad they looked good altogether. Well, atleast for me. :P

Hey there, handsome. We’ll be spending more time together for the rest of 2013 again. I’m excited and I hope so are you. Get really to get annoyed with me over and over again. Mwahaha. Chos lang!

Okay, what a title! Hahaha! :P

Letting go of something you hold on to for the longest time is really hard. But if it’s hatred, anger, and/or anything negative and will just worsen you, I say you let go of the bad things to make room for the good one. Mahirap. Yes, right. But don’t you just want to inhale and exhale the good air and not the ‘polluted’ one? One key to happiness is to just forgive and forget and just go with the flow. Remember, everything happens for a reason so be thankful for the good ones but be grateful for the bad ones because it can make you a better version of yourself depending on how you handle it.    

So with that being said, just like what I said in my year-ender post, I re-kindle my friendship with my boyfriend’s college barkada just because. I have neglected them for I can’t remember how long because of somethings that happened in the past. I’ve wanted everything to be okay but maybe it wasn’t the time yet until my boyfriend’s birthday came. Long story short, I made the first move to talk to them so I can surprise my boyfie on his day and everything happened like how it’s supposed to be. All of us having fun. See? If the right time comes, everything will just fall into place like how you want them to. And it feels great to be friends with them again. 

Anyway, since we’re all friends again, the boyfriend and I decided to attend their annual Christmas party and it’s so fun we’ve forgotten that we were supposed to stay for just a couple of minutes and ended up staying up to 2am something. :D Snapshots, snapshots! How about some floral maxi dress for my first outfit post for 2013? I have so many backlogs but i’m too in-love with this dress I can’t help but post it already. Well, what can I say. I have my moments. Hahaha! :P

Gotta love this maxi dress because it makes me move oh so freely! Loved the effect too when the wind blows! One more thing about this dress? I got this for a much lower price when The Fashion Library Ph had their end of season sale. So I suggest you like them on facebook so you can have the first dibs on their nice dresses and other items!

Lakas nga maka-debut no? I feel like i’m back to being 18. Haha! I wish I could but being older made me wiser. Bit cliche but true! Have a wonderful 2013, you pretty girls and handsome boys!

Just a day late! Yay to me! Hahaha. Ok. Serious mode now. 

2012 has been a blast to me. Last year (2011), I posted as a status on Facebook that 2012 needs to do it’s best to be better than 2011 and I guess it really did because looking back, I got almost what I want this year. I went to so many places, I got a good job with wonderful people, I got to explore myself more when I went out of my comfort zone and so much more and more and more. It is indeed a one helluva year! So let’s go back to what happened to me last 2012 ala-instagram, shall we?

Boracay (January). Pagpasok ng taon, lakwatsa agad-agad! Hahah! So much love in this place! I wanna go back to Boracay this year with my friends. 3-4 days aren’t enough, I swear! (posts here!)

Pampanga (February). My first time to witness the hotair balloon fiesta! Fun-filled day with my officemates although being here the whole day was kinda boring. Blog post here!

Batangas (March). Got to spend more time with my cousins to bond when we decided to have a mini-getaway after our tito died. It isn’t everyday that we get to do this so going to a place away from Manila for a day is enough for us to enjoy together. More trips this year please!! (blog here)

Zambales (May). The one-for-the-books trip with my forever barkada. Yes, we have a yearly summer getaway but this time, we decided to go somewhere far from the south. I am so glad we pushed through this one because we all went home with a smile on our faces. I am so excited for our getaway this year!! (blog here and here)

Singapore (July). I think this trip was the highlight of my 2012 as this was my first trip out of the country. My boyfriend and I went to Singapore to celebrate my 23rd birthday and also for our pre-5th anniversary celebration. I cannot believe we’re on our 5th year together. It still feels like yesterday was our first day as a couple. 2012 has been good to us since no major fights happened. Haha! We have learned to compromise, to understand one another in different situations, to give and take more and to adjust to one another’s needs and wants. I hope 2013 will be as good or maybe better! Friends. I am thankful for these people whom I spent my highschool and college years with. Up until now, although not often, we still make time to see each other to just catch up and have fun. I don’t know what i’ll be without them. Sabi nila, kung sino yung lagi mong nakakasama, yun yung mga nagiging katulad mo. True? Maybe. So I am glad I spent 8 years with good, kind-hearted, God-fearing, fun, care-free people because I know something somewhere in me were from them. 

Parents. My parent’s 25th anniversary was celebrated this year. The original plan was for them to get married again but then time didn’t permit us to do so. Someday I hope. I am thankful for them because they have raised such an awesome girl named Karla. Hahahaha I kid!! But I am thankful for being an inspiration to me. Not just as a parent but also as a couple. I love them to bits.

Baguio (November). Year 2012 was a year of spontaneity. My officemates and I had an impromptu trip to Baguio for the long weekend. You think it was all dull and boring but sorry to disappoint you, it was epic! I am thankful for these new people in my life. I am lucky to be a part of a company where you treat each other as family. I wouldn’t enjoy going to work up to 11 in the evening and on Saturdays if it weren’t for them. 

Reunite. This year, I made the biggest step to re-kindle a friendship with the boyfriends’ friends. I sometimes have the attitude of the ‘if you don’t like me, I don’t like you too’ so doing this was hard. But I am glad I did because everything turned out great. I wish to be closer to them this year because being with them is just so fun and fun and fun.

ANO PA BA? Haha. There are still things I weren’t able to include here but that doesn’t mean that they’re not as great. Basta. 2012 was such a great great year for me and for everyone around me.

This 2013, I’ll make it a point to be more positive in everything. I won’t give up that easily, I won’t lose hope that fast. I’ll fight and fight for what I know is right and for the better. I’ll cry less and be strong more. Expect less and love more. Eat less and work out more. :P But above all, more love to give to everyone who’s been there for me from the start including You, my dear Lord.
